EDN Innovations Awards 2008 were held in October 2008 and BCS Innovations were one of the finalist in the category ‘Best Application of a Microcontroller’ for the MF-10 Protein Separator.

The Nu Sep MF10 is a unique instrument, able  to separate biological samples by both size and isoelectric point. Equally important, however, is that the technology developed as part of this product is able to significantly reduce the time, cost, and complexity of the IVF sperm separation process. The goal is to make IVF more affordable and available to more families within the community – in fact, a successful birth has already taken place using this technology.
